  • new pilot ,new blade cx2

hi all,my name is lewis,im 38 and live in n devon ,ive flown dlg gliders and slope soarers but due to our weather spend more time looking out the window umming and arring ,anyway i bought my son pico apache ,awful charging connection ,great fun though ,so started looking at slightly better helis .so after plenty off research ive ordered blade cx2 and some spares, cant wait, ill have loads off questions over the next couple off weeks !! so till then ,see ya

the cx2 is a great little heli, little or no setup required other than a bit of a trim out.

you will have loads of fun.

i warn you tho. helis are addictive. i used to be heavily into slope even cometed (and won) at national level. however.... once the heli bug took hold i flew them less and less! these days i seem to fly slope less than twice a year!

                            Hi Lewis
i had a look around and the nearest club seems to be Hartland
they only fly march till Oct because the amount of water that does not drain from the fields
i think i heard there may be a club/flyer's at northern burrows on a Sunday i will see if i can find out
there is a club in Bude, that one i will probably join
have a look on bmfa site
                            http://www.bmfa.org/clubs/clist.php
will have to meet up some time
