400 setup help needed in Ashford Kent area

Hi guys i am new to this forum and hobby and i was wondering if somebody in the Ashford Kent area could give me some one to one help on setting up my blade 400 3d.
I am quite happy to pay for the time spent helping with money or copius amounts of Jack Daniels
Frustration is setting in as i am struggling to hover the heli as it seems to have a violent shudder come tail wag on spool up which gets worse as you increase throttle to the point of it looks like it is going to shake itsself to pieces.
Any help will be gratefully received.

If you fancy a trip to essex at some point i could do it for you (or show you how) at a guess i would say firstly turn down the gyro gain value.My B400 did have a tendency to wag on the floor but once it was up it would go away.Is yours the same?

If its a vibration as opposed to a tail wag then its most likely a bent main/feathering shaft if you have ever hit the blades on the boom or the ground or anything else for that matter.The eflite shafts arent great.Also check the blades are balanced.There are loads of how to's in that respect online

The problem i have is the wife works most evenings and weekends so i am left babysitting the kids thats why i wondered if someone could help me at home as it would be a struggle to make the club times.

Can you take a vid and post it. Sometimes the problem can be spooling up too slowly. Especially if you have a training undercarraige on. Is it new or has it been crashed. There are lots of things to check. It shouldn't need setup unless someone has changed things. As mentioned check for bent things. Main shaft and feathering shaft are a good start. Remove and roll on a piece of glass to check. Main shaft is easiest. Feathering shaft has thrust bearings inside which have to be put back in the right order. There is a Blade Bible with instructions. You will need some tools as well. Taking the heli apart is something you will have to do. You'll get quite good at it through practice. Take a photo of the part before you take it apart, there are often more ways of putting it back than you think.
