  • Green horn... (brand new newbie)

Ok, I know nothing... and I mean nothing, especially about RC piloting. So, mi cards are on't table.

I'm lookin to purchase myself something to smash up, I mean fly...,fly definately fly..

Anyhowz, been pokin around here for a while, at least an hour or so and come to the conclusion (under the influence of Alcohol) that I'm gonna get me a HoneyBee King 2...............or maybe a Blade CX2

Any opinions, experiences or suggestions will be gratefully received; by the way..... I know nothing.

I am a blank canvas; so lob some paint at me and hopefully the painting we create, will not be that of an horrific crash scene but something that ressembles a pilot, his chose bird (not the feathered ones or un-feathered for that matter) hovering in the distance.

    Anyway, Hi folks... great site.
Cheers Steve. (CX2 Crash test dummy) Sokay, d'nt urt...

    Running repairs:
    1 New Rear Body.
1 New Inner Shaft & Gear.
    1 New Skid.
    8 Upper blades.
    5 Lower Blades.

Blade cx 2 and Phoenix RC sim. Dont waste ya money on a honeybee king mate. Save it for a proper heli. You plan on getting into electric or nitro?

IF i had read that comment last xmas i'd have dismissed it withouth a thought infact i would of said wot a load of old bl**x lol, last xmas my missis bought me a little 130 squid venom counter rotor thingy and after 3 weeks of that the down ward slope appeared on my bank balance, o yes that'll be 4500 squid up to now on this hobby and my flying ability seems to go from good to bad on a monthly basis, like many on this site i have or did have expensive hobby's like bike's and cars but the last year i have been obsessed with this bloody toy heli thing and the bug just gets worse, my advise is get out while u can lol, people have lost houses and women over this hobby and some even there life! hobby's are ment to be enjoyable! wot other hobby after 3 mins do u become a quivering reck shaking like the onset of parkinson's disease, man i need to take up fishing.

Best thing you can do is find a local club and get some advice for your future "proper" helicopter purchase, there will be one, oh yes, its going to cost you a fair bit but the excitement, fear, shaking like a dog having a s**t after your first solo hover with a big bird is worth every penny
