Hi,
Forgive me I'm totally new to this heli thing
I have been searching the web for beginners heli's and have found a few, but want to get some expert advice before I take the plunge. I don't want to make the wrong decision which will mean I end up getting bored or disillusioned and not taking it any further than the living room.
I do like the look of the CX2 that has been mentioned on here lots, but as far as I can see the controller does not come with a trainer port.
There are some cheaper models I have seen namely the E Sky Comanche and E Sky 4Ch Honey Bee that do have trainer ports.
Is it better to get a heli where I have the option of having some practise on a Sim?
I am a bit worried that the E Sky models may be a bit cheap and just end up putting me off, but do like the fact that they have the trainer option.
The other main question I have is, what is the different between the co-axial heli's and other non co-axial 4ch heli's. The above mentioned Honey Bee is a non co-axial 4ch heli which is described as being 'great for beginners', so how does this differ in flying terms from the co-axial types of from the more advanced heli's?
I'm not too worried about how much cash I spend, I just want to find the right balance between getting something I can actually fly and something that I can really learn from.
Maybe I should get a good controller and a cheapish crashable indoor heli to play with so I can upgrade just the heli later....?
Any idea would be well received
