Having spent 2 days building my heli (Trex 450Pro + DFC + RA7200BX) I just had to try it. Wasn't that bad, but I think training gear was supposed to be glued to the plastic bit in the middle
One bit did fail, but it was predictable - DFC is using "new style" ball links which real pain to skrew to the rod. I will be buying few more of those until I learn how to put it together right
Also, "new style" DFC swashplate with only to balls is a waste of money - it's incredibly difficult to attach/remove links to/from it. RA7200BX setup was most difficult of all; everything I read about swashplate setup turned out to be little use. Luckily I found BeastX setup videos at helifreak, it helped a lot.
All in all not too bad but lost piece of training gear (lol) and will have to replace ball links.
Of course I was doing nothing else just trying to hover. It was surely exciting and I will be doing more of it

Get as much stick time as you can and get on the simulator! Make sure you're comfortable with the heli in the hover in all orientations (perhaps not nose in at first) before you start moving it about etc.
