  • which 3 in 1 or 4 in 1

    Building up a second CX 2 airframe, and need a servo and reciever. cant decide if should go with 3 or 4 in 1. also where is best place to get one.

    I'd say go for the 3in1.... the 4in1 suffers badly from heat... I have had both, and prefer the 3in1

      Had a quick look, found model PART no EFLH1023 mixer/esc/gyro so presumably no reciever, good price though £19. I thought 3 in 1 were reciver/esc/mixer with external gyro.

        Think it depends on the model/manufacturer mate as there can be a number of combinations.

          the new cx2 uses a spektrum 6100 rec, so it must be gyro/ esc/ mixer

            Decided its not worth it, was going to cost ½ the cost of a new cx2, so unless can get one cheap/second hand not worth it.

              My BCX2 uses the 4 in 1 controller and if totaled she must have at least fifteen hours plus air time so far, and as the motors work in the torque changes so sight adjustments on the pots are necessary.

              But I've never encountered any heat issues which causes flying problems.

              Search on e-bay for second hand BCX2's I've seen them go for as much as £50 in the past, which would see you in good stead for available parts
