  • No lift!

    Hi everyone,

I've had a bit of a crash today but luckily, it wasn't a huge one... The damage wasn't too bad but the rod that goes through the main shaft where the main blade clips screw into became bent. I managed to take it apart, re-bend it back to being nice and straight and get the blades on again.

Now though, the heli seems to have no lift whatsoever. The blades all seem perfectly balanced and tracked, the flybar seems to be fine and everything is smooth as anything at any throttle. It just won't lift. The pitch all looks fine (ie. the blades are not pointing to the ground so to my mind, it should fly!). No vibration, no wobbling all seems fine.

It's an Esky Honeybee CP3 – if anyone has any suggestions then i'd be so grateful!!!

    Thanks,
    Tom.

Have you checked the pitch hasn't some how become reversed ?

Or, Un'Plug the motors, and then flick the idle switch, center the collective stick and it should be at 0 degrees, increase the collective and see if the blades show positive pitch

the blade grips should be trailing edge controlled. have you accidently rebuilt it with leading edge control?

        Never thought of that one!

Sure your batts are fully charged and giving enough head RPM?
