Hi everyone,
I got myself a Honeybee V2 a month ago as a complete novice. Over the last couple of weeks my flying has come along, mainly thanks to me getting a Blade 120 sr, I'm able to hold a hover for an entire battery on the Bee and forward flight with small turns on the 120sr. As I'm intending to stay in the hobby I recently got myself a DX7 with the intention of controlling my two heli's and any future aircraft.
Today I converted my HBV2 with a Spektrum AR6115e, it was all pretty painless it actually took more time to get the proportion right than converting the 4 in 1. However when I did get the proportion dialled in and tried to hover I found it very difficult. At first I put it down to the DX7 and adjusted the throttle curve, to no avail. I then noticed that if I push the elevator forward it increases the throttle, if I pull back it reduces the throttle i.e. (Throttle @ 20% push elevator forward it gets light and almost lifts, Throttle @ 20% pull elevator back the motor stops!!).
Anybody any ideas?
I have non standard servos, could they be the problem? Although I didn't notice the problem before the conversion.
Cheers
