How to get more range out of my Trex 450?

I have the DX6i with a AR6100 im trying to get better range for furthing my FPV set up.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The AR6100 is a fairly short range (park flyer) receiver. You will need to go for a "full range rx for example ar7000. But as a word of caution, flying a 450 with FPV is not for the faint hearted, you really need a spotter and to keep the 450 in line of site which means the range of your ar6100 should be sufficient.

I've been flying helis for a few years now and I also fly FPV, but imho the two don't play well together because it is just too easy to mess up with the heli and you will be in a world of trouble, so I stick to quads, hex's and planks for my FPV stuff.
