How do i stop the blades winding up with no stick ?

    dani_r was very helpful and i got a lot done. there are a few issues re the motor/esc but i have a spare so will try to fit today.

      Just try to find out what that ESC is from the guy who had the heli before you first If it's something we can programme then great! If not, the Align one is the way forward

          Have you calibrated the stick positions on the DX8? A mate had the same problem as a result of not getting a low enough throttle channel output with the throttle stick at its lowest position.

            Someone else had this problem. I think you'll find that the tx has different trim settings for each mode. When you switch on the esc remembers the trim setting as no throttle, when you switch mode by going into throttle hold it sees a slow speed. Set the trim levels the same.
            Flasher 450 Sport. Assan GA250 with 520 tail servo, MKS DS450 cyclic.
            Multiplex Cockpit Tx, DX7, DX6i
            Blade 130-X, MSR, MSRX
            Phoenix Sim

                Ok. I look forward to meeting you guys. I am not bothered about flying as I want to touch base. Will bring the 450 but I think it needs work electrically.

                      What is likely happening is that your throttle hold value has been set to a negative value (say -5%). I'm not sure why they do this but they do. When you power up your heli, it reads that value as the throttle closed value, which means that when you remove throttle hold and go to 0%, it reads this as a small throttle input. BTDT.
