Just thought I'd share the good news....
Yesterday my 600e got her final check over by Dave Fisher. Build was good apart from a few points. Main Blades not tight enough... a bit of binding on the tail push rod... ok now don't laugh at this next one ... but the main shaft 'jesus' bolt wasn't screwed up at all ... No don't ask me how I missed that...
but apart from that servo's were good....little bits of subtrim to line up at 90 due to spline placement (my excuse and sticking to it) but everything else I got on the money...belt tension, linkage rods, gear placement the whole nine yards. Dave set it up on his radio and did the full 3d on it....and it rocked...then transferred settings to my dx7 and re-flew it.... set it up really stable for me.... it was just awesome to see this thing I'd spent months building and wiring and tweaking and re-doing etc. etc. to see it leap into the air and do pyro's inverted, tic-tocs, pie dishes etc. was just amazing. Oddly dave muttered something about wishing he'd never sold his 600e now. lol. He trains me on a 600n.
Anyway....he flies Mode 1 so when he finished the 3d he got my DX7 re-binded (is that a word) then flew it again and it was awesome. He spend nearly an hour and half getting it totally sorted...his attention to detail, programming and tweaking were awesome... the heli's gorgeous....awaiting my last piece....the custom canopy from Australia.....
So happy with it....I'm scared to fly it incase I trash it lol.
