  • Lack of yaw to the left

I have the cx2, and have had my fair share of crashes, however I recently had a pretty bad crash - flew into a wall i didn't see at pretty high speed! I now have an issue with complete lack of power to yaw to the left. the heli yaw's to the right by it self, but i feel this is due to a left yaw issue since when i push the left stick all the way let, the heli will move very slowly to the left, then give up after about a 1/4 turn. I am able to fly the heli if i don't attempt to go past straight - yawing left. Sometimes when I yaw left it will just yaw right. I have played with the prop mix controller on the 3-in-1 and unable to get it any better, i have pulled the heli to bits, and rebuilt it since the crash and it hasn't made any difference, I don't think the shafts are bent. I'm a bit worried as i can't get it to work properly.....if anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreicated. I fully understand i might need to put my hand in my pocket for spares, just unsure what needs replacing? When i spin the shafts up with no blades/fly bar, although i have no way to prove this, i think that the lower(outter) shaft spins slower when full left is applied, than the inner shaft spins when full right is applied....hope that makes sense!

it could be that you have a motor on its way out.

are they any ways to prove this? its a shame you can't just swap the motors around.....i suppose I could always just buy a new motor and if it doesn't fix it then i'll have it for later! I have also noticed my batteries don't last as long as they use too, i am guessing this could also be a sign of the motor dying? or maybe the shaft rubbing on something?

cheers for the quick response :-)

sounds like the motor yea or maybe the mixer is damaged. also check the tail gear and the whole system make sure its not binding or anything. the way you describe it it sounds a bit like how these micro heli's act when the battery is low, the tail just freaks out with no warning.

there is no tail gear mate! i would go with the motor theory they dont last long anyway so a spare is always handy
