Finally have my T-rex!

I finally have my t-rex kit (se v2). Can't touch it until my birthday which is Dec 2nd though! I can look at the box though......Oh well better get on phoenix. I'm in the US and bought it here, the exchange rate is very kind.

Yes I have got nearly everything now, I have a gy401, s9650 and at the moment 1* hs65 mg, the shop are getting the other two for me, for me to pickup before i leave. I have a spare AR6100 at home so virtually all set.

I haven't spent that much time flying helis in phoenix though as i have been flying foamie planes every since I got my transmitter (it was the cheapest way into the air and actually loads of fun!) So I think i will take the build slow and spend some more time in phoenix with the t-rex.

I managed to keep my hands of the heli until my birthday past and just started the build this weekend. So far, so good. Just about to do the tail. I guess the hard part is to come with the setup of the servos etc.

I have to say the kit is manufactured really nicely. All the parts are perfect and go together really easily.

Thats not fair really, crash repairs are part of the general running cost budget and not the gift budget

That's a shame, hopefully Christmas can provide some non-repair gear! I work from home and it's not easy getting on with work with my half finished heli in the room.
