  • Blade 120 slow responce

Hi guys,i have a problem with a blade 120,it is slow to respond to backward to forward controls from my dx6i,all was ok then on a night out flying it would not respond very well to forward input after a backwards flight.I cleaned the servos and this helped a little but not a lot,are the servos stuffed or could there be another problem? Any help here would b great as this is the only heli I can fly at the moment.got a twister 3d storm but that's another story.
    Thanks for any help.
    Ricky.

Check swash movements, then try a rebind to compare any differences. If no improvement, really make sure the servo tracks are clean. Only a suggestion, roll reactions are OK I guess ?
    Trex 450 SEV2.
Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !
    Trex 550 V2. Adrenalin ( brown kind )
mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.
    Several planks, gathering dust.

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.

Hi Cagey swash seems ok and have cleaned servo tracks also rebound but still wants to do its own thing,it got a bang off a wall (oops) but I have seen these helies take a bigger hit and fly ok could it be the receiver?buy roll do you mean left to right banking? If so they are fine.

So then the snag is probably in the elevator servo. All plugs , lead, connections sound ? Try swapping the servo plugs around to see if it only happens on the one servo, or the one function ( elevator ) Servo swap is easy enough to do. Have you any other machines bound to your T/X to prove that it is AOK ?

Ps Cagey any idea were I could get correct settings for dx6i for the twister 3d storm? At the moment just as the skids get light it flips forwards just below full throttle which lead to a bent tailboom which I now have to replace

Difficult this buddy. If there is full but slow servo response in one control only, and this happens if you substitute a different known good response rate servo for the slow one, and no mechanical restriction to cause that slowness, also if your T/X is okey dokey, it does sound as if there may be a R/X fault. Though now I'm out of suggestions, I hope someone else will come along with a simple solution. Till then stop flying the bugger into immobile objects. Ho hum.

OOps. Sorry kiddo that's for a 7 not a 6i. Have a Google search if you've got the nerve and patience. Keep us posted I'm off for a dish, fag shower and me kip. Cheers and good luck with it.

Thanks to everyone who helped with this thread but blade 120 has now died ,watch out for faulty battery termnials as the rx cuts out,I cut old one off and replaced but this lead to a faulty tail rotor and crash also do not handle the rx with bare hands, seems oil from your skin is not good for it at all,so will buy a new 120,by the time I buy all the new parts I might as well.
A well got twister rebuilt so guys a club(Roseyards)are very helpfull and will get dx6 set up for it,should prove to be fun
                              Happy flying
