  • Reciever / Servo / Transmitter / Battery ELECTRICS Problem

I had a bit of a crash recently and since then the tail rudder servo is being activated by any collective throttle input (i.e. I push the trottle stick up and the rudder blades move left and visa versa!). All other servos are working as they should. I have charged the batterys up just in case, and had a glance at the connections.

    ANYBODY ANYWHERE have ANY Clues,

All advice greatly appreciated (other than don't crash)

You have revolution mixing activated within your transmitter, this is used when you don't have a heading hold gyro and the transmitter will increase the tail's pitch to compensate for the increase torque from the power of engine as the main blades pitch increases.

    A few questions:

What Tx are you using ?
What Gyro are you using ?
What tail servo have you go on ?
    Cheers

      Doh

Don't I feel stupid, ( ops: ) are you saying that this has been going on since I started. I guess I only noticed it with the anticipation of a problem post crash.
I have a JR XP662 transmitter, with the standard JR servos supplied. The giro is a CSM180 non heading hold.

          Hi Stuart

I bought the transmitter brand new from the shop, however I didn't get the manual with it, any ideas where I can get my hands on one?
