Newbie from Cornwall

Hi all

My name is Marco and recently purchased a second hand T-Rex 600 with Futuba T6J and a various load of bits and pieces.

A few years ago I started with RC Plane, a Piper Cub that I built from a kit and flew a couple of times with a local RC club and then moved on and purchased a Raptor 50 V2 however, never flew it.

So basically, totally green and starting from scratch all over again but with a little bit of knowledge.. but we all know what people say about a little bit of knowledge!

I'm not the sort of person to try and fly without knowing what I'm doing so I was also given REFLEX XTR Model Simulator however, I'm having some difficulty setting up the Futaba with it.

Looking for help and information on how to set up the trasmitter and the program on the computer, or if I should be using a different, better program.. so I can learn to fly digitally before I attempt the real thing.

Hi,

Just looking back at this post. Time has come to sell for something new. Any recommendations where to sell. Obviously cant through forum. RC Helicopters arent toys so want to make sure it goes to any enthusiast

You can sell through bmfa (don't know if there are restrictions like being a member). Or eBay of course. Getting something smaller? Big machine a 600 if you are just starting out.

Yes, its quite intimidating and its been flown once in 18 months. Shame, put in alot of hours on Reflex XTR software though
