    Hi peeps

Didnt watch the whole 6 minutes Lee as I'm off to work now but its a great start.

I noticed you are following the helicopter on foot, try to control the heli from a still position instead of you following the heli..... bring it back via the controls.

Also noticed on a couple of occasions it got very close to you, please beware even though its only a 450 size it will make a hell of a mess of you should it hit you.

Great start though, practice on the sim too when the weather is too bad to go out.

Yes i agree will all of that! and it did get a little close a few times maybe 2m away to close i know, i was walking with it as i was trying to turn at the end of the garden and fly back up to the shed, think a few times i stand by the shed and fly it backward to me.

thanks for the tips, oh its a Go Pro HD2 on 720p 30fps

          Hi fella,

Ah - memories, I too started off with a Honey Bee King 2 and then bought myself a DX6i - the difference was like night and day and really helped my progression.

Looks like you have it well set up, stick with it mate - I think you will progress well. (I have a feeling those trees on the left may end up with one or two battle scars though!)

          Cheers,
          Simon

You're doing better than me there, you're keeping it within fairly narrow confines while I tend to be all over the place. I fly backward to bring it back to me, too

            Keep up the good play

Very nice! Couple of more flights and you can drop that train gear, just find a bit more space

Keep it up - stay in one spot and it looked liked your draining the battery right down. make sure you keep circa 20% left in it to keep its life cycle as maximum as possible. If your using zero expo in the cyclic check your manual a little dumning of the center will help to control it better then once your good at holding a hover in one spot drop off the expo. What pitch range are you using and if you placed the heli on the ground without the blades spinning how much travel do you have on the elevator and aileron. Keeping the throws not at maximum when learning will help to soften the cyclic response these can be opened up again as you progress. Doing well though..... :-)
                Cheers

I dont use the throttle hold as i have no idea what it does or how to use it!
Im pleased with the set up, i did all of it as i striped the heli down and rebuild it! again all the info i have is from this forum and you tube
