    Thanks for that, I do intend to get Phoenix (read so many good things about it elsewhere) but the plan was really to get that a little bit in the future when I was thinking about getting something CP and a bit bigger.
    This was supposed to just be a fun, fly around the front room jobbie!
    I didn't think I'd need a sim to fly the SR but was thinking about grabbing a copy today

      if you are as u say you are i.e first heli ever and reaction and that the sim will even be hard but after say 10 hours practice over a cople of days or even weeks u may be ok u may still be poo but when u look back its like wow 1st go was usless but look at me now i can 1)i can hover in the space of a carpark for mor than 5 seconds b4 crashing or 2) look at my 3d masters here i come

      sims are worth it even if just to get u started but u will probly still use it after u can fly comfortably
