  • Moving back to the UK

    Hi all,

Im finally moving back to the UK from Kuwait.

I have a JR XP662 transmitter which at the moment is set to 72mhz channel 51.

Is there any way the frequency can be changed so i can use it back home, if there is i presume i'll need to get a new reciever or can that be changed as well?????

    thanks for any help

    Gareth

    Hi Gareth,

Welcome back to good ole' blighty

To change your radio over to the 35mhz band you will need to change the RF plug in module in the transmitter, receiver and get a set of crystals for the two.

    Cheers,

    Pete.

      Cheers Pete,

Thanks for the reply. That should save me a few quid or so had visions of having to buy new transmitter. Might actually be able to get some decent help in learning to fly now im coming back home. I kinda gave up out here due to language barrier and hostile natives. Mind you im a englishman in scotland so it might be the same!!!!!!!!!! (joke not meant to upset any scots)

One thing though, the TX modules are rediculously expensive over here, half the price if you can import from Asia
