    honeybee v2 (fp)
    honeybee cp3 (cp)

now i am still quiet new and was wounder can i still learn with a cp and just not use the cp while learning then as i get better start to use the cp?

or would i be better getting the honeybee v2 getting good with that then advancing to a cp3??

    Personally I wouldnt buy either...

I would get yourself a DX6i or DX7 tx and a copy of phoenix flight sim and practice, practice, practice.

Heli wise you cant go wrong with a Trex 450 or 500... might seem a huge jump but great to learn on and far better than a honeybee

    Align Trex 500
    Gaui 550 Hurricane
    HK 600 GT
    DJI Phantom 3 Advanced
    Phoenix sim

I have a perfect record with helicopter flight...I have never left one up there!

I'll second that advice, Esky helis are a PITA. a 450 would be a much better option.

As for not using the CP part of a CP heli, no, it doesn't work that way. But if your careful, patient and willing to learn (Radds Schoold of Rotary Flight - google it) then CP really isn't that different to FP

I'll third that. The esky helis I had never flew right. The fit and finish is poor IMO . Learning is hard enough without the Heli failing

If you are really serious about the hobby then as said get Phoenix and a dx7. It may seem boring initially but it will save you a lot of cash in long run.

Then you can go straight to a decent CP heli avoiding those you mentioned

Hey mate stay away from the honeybee's you will spend monies trying to get the thing to fly right and it will never happen.
all + 1 for the above.

At the risk of getting flamed here I'd say go for an mCPX, sims are great if they work for you, but there are several posts regarding the much more fun aspect of the mCPX. Sim away to your hearts content buddy but the real thing is unbeatable. Once you've mastered the mCPX, then go for something bigger, 500 size or more if you've got the bucks. 450s are great, but even twitchier than a wasp on acid. Good luck my friend.
                Trex 450 SEV2.
Trex 450 SEV2, hack, freeby, but getting expensive. Binned the bu**er !
                Trex 550 V2. Adrenalin ( brown kind )
mCPX, better than a Phoenix anyday.
                Several planks, gathering dust.

Brains and thumbs work okay, but not at the same time.

my favorite heli of all time was a little hirobo srb fixed pitch job, it was so well made it really was a joy to fly around the garden even in a light breeze.
i can't comment on the esky helis as i've never owned one, just remember, you get what you pay for, a nice big rappy 30 will get you started, i'd recommend lessons too.

sorry to burst your bubble mate but the advice above is spot on.

get youself a good dx7 or better and a sim. £100 for a transmitter and heli will ruin your thoughts on the rc heli world as you will be constantly crashing and the tx aint up to scratch at all.

also i am based hertford town steve b

problem is access to a computer to use a sim aint great hence why i was thinking a cheap 4 channel to play around with not bothered to much if i crash it cause will be a trainning one in many sense then moving on to bigger and better

Get msr and dx6i or better radio then. It should teach you orientation and you can fly it anywhere, including your living room.
Sim is essential later on, I'd recommend getting a computer just for the sim, Phoenix can run on anything pretty much.

Second that on Msr. Durable, great fun, great for learning orientation
i had a 120 sr for a bit as well. although it got upset if you farted near it cos its so light, a lot of my fff was learnt on that. durable as well.
