well it took a couple of hours as it was my first folly into reparing the heli, i was surprised to see there was no bearing in the mixing levers, so i had to cut through the old one to get the bearing out .hmm..that was like when i replaced the gear in the servo.. no bearing in the repair pack..
it was a little tricky getting the rudder servo in place right and to get the rear rotors to tilt as they should, but i think i managed.. that elastic band (drive train) that runs through the boom to power the rudders was a bit tricky to get straight..
what else.. oh yeah. took me a minute to figure out that the flybar paddles screwed on ...heh.. i was not sure so i just leveled them up by eye, and measured how much bar was on either side.. not sure how crucial that is.
after i got the old bent boom off, i tried to bend it.. but it was much stronger than i thought, and for those blades to do so much damage to it realy makes me think.. imagine the mess it would make if it hit you..
mental note: be very carefull ...
anyway just thought id mention where i was at.
cheers Rob
