There are some really great flying days through the winter, as the air can be still and cold, so lots of power for nitro engines.
You just have to wrap up warm

Hi, and welcome to the UK.

In the cold, I wear a pair of shooting (shotgun) gloves. They have windstop in them, and very thin and warm. Great feel, so no probs flying.

I love flying on a crisp frosty cold morning, still air, blue sky's, clean air. I am almost looking forward to it! (not really)!

Dont think you will get many mode 3's in the UK. But dont let that put you off.
                Cheers

I love that photo. I love the Winter, especially when theres snow on the ground. I only don't fly if it's raining and even then I go and try to fit one in while it clears. Theres all sorts of kep warm tricks and tips, my tip, a decent set of lined fishing wellies, as long as your feet are warm you'll be fine with a coat and a hat.

No need to worry about the weather, we don't.
Just get out and fly and enjoy it.
