  • tx problem or servo problem?

I just finished rebuilding my trex 600 after a crash that broke the frame. I just started messing with the servos and something weird has happened. When I give down (backwards) input to the elevator it goes down like it should but the other two servos go slightly down as well. It is the same if I give any up (forward) input to the elevator. If I am not mistaken when I give down input the pitch and aileron servos should go up. Is this correct and if so how do I make it so that they do that? I spent a while messing with the settings in my transmitter and I couldn't get it to change. Thanks for the help in advance!

Usually when people talk about down elevator it means nose down, so down is when you push the stick forward. Hopefully you've put a servo in the wrong channel, but if that's not the case you may need to check the servos on their own. You could disconnect the rudder channel and check that each servo does what it should. And/or go to an aircraft program and check that each servo works on its own. You may have a broken gear in a servo, make sure each go push smoothly over the whole of its range.

I did the same thing myself on my 600E. It requires either the Elevator servo reversing or the Swash mix changing,
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

I figured it out, the aileron and pitch servos were just switched in the receiver. Thanks for the help, it should be flying tonight after sitting for a year broken.
