IT had to happen sooner or later

Well I had my first crash on Sat. Totally pilot error. I had been flying the heli in towards me on circuits. I'm comfortable with the orientation flying wise. Anyway, the last flight of the day and I slowed it down too quickly, too low and not close enough to see what was happening. Too much back pressure and put the hawk down on its tail.

New boom, fin, main shaft, feathering spindle and blades. Fairly minor damage compared to my pride.

Will be back together and tested tomorrow pm.

Hey Ant,

Sorry to hear your news, great to hear though your getting straight back into the seat so to speak.

Mine will be back in the air by the weekend, found my glitch.... well atleast I reckon I have the allow boom brace had chaffed the boom allowing metal on metal via new carbon boom supports it was a dead cert to happen.

Still waiting on my elevator link and S9206 gearset 22.00 ouch 8O which I'm promised should arrive by Thursday.
