Hello.
I'm in the process of setting up my first ever helicopter - a Trex 550e with vbar 5.0 blueline express. All going well except that when I plug in my tail servo, it shoots across to one extreme and seriously distorts my tail push rod such that I have to immediately disconnect the power and manually push the servo back again to straighten the rod.
I've checked the servo arm is installed the right way around according to the diagram in the manual and that it is centered according to my cheapie turnigy servo checker. Through the vbar software I'm pretty sure that I've got the servo moving in the right direction as well, with the end points set in the transmitter so they show the required 100% per the set-up wizard.
Clearly I've got something wrong though, so any advice on where to look would be gratefully received.
Lastly, is it normal for the servos to make the whining/buzzing sort of sound that they do during bench set-up i.e. without any load? Basic question, I know ...
Many thanks.
Alistair
