why dont my channel six work

Im using a micro six channel receiver for my TREX, its only a cheap 1 which comes with a zoom 400, (before you say its only for a week when i get paid and can afford a decent receiver next weekend) trouble is it doesnt see the servo in chaneel six, now theres nothin wrong with servo as i set it up on a large rx fine, the controller is a FF8 non-super so there is mixing involved with the radio to obtain the eccpm, on the rx it says 6/b so i presume its for the battery as well for those not using the esc for power, it workied fine in the Zoom for pitch

Any thoughts

can i actually use a large rx for a week or would this cause c of g issues???
