Fish fingers are oblong and orange and Lamb vindaloo is quite abstract and freeform in comparison
I did not notice it either.
Had a look at his site anyway and I can tell the rest of you not to bother with it.

      Hi Guys,

Really I am interested in flying!

Don't worry, I am not going to try and sell anything here. Defantly not trying to spam!

I will probably try the clapham park.

        Forgot about that one.
        Have never been myself.
I think that Eckman gets down there and possibly Trev from Hoverfly amongst others..

PS Oh yeah theres a place over at Croydon as well.Bloody cold in January eh Tiddler?
Yes, I have just looked at an areal view of Morden Park and that is it. It was Eckman that showed me it.

You park in the car park for Merton College/ Morden pools and the flying is in the field above (as you look at it on Google Maps).
Life's a bitch and then you fly!!

The official flying site in morden is a good walk from the carpark and the field used before ya gets whinged at..shame was really nice.

flying at croydon requires my express permission..far too many folk getting in my way now..leave me to enjoy the cold and misery alone..it sorts the men from the boys....

Two places that come to mind are the old Croydon airport on Purley way. I haven't been over there in ages so I have no idea who's flying there or when. A little further south is Epsom Downs which is a nice big space but not many heli flyers and that's where I was flying most of the time last year.

I live in SW17 also. Has anyone tried flying in Wandsworth or Tooting commons? I'm a complete newbie with a 200 sized heli (for now!).

From my time living in London, if you live in East London a perfect place to fly your quadcopters or helicopters is Wanstead Flats or Hackney Marches.

You might have to wait until the football games finish but after that there is loads of space to get your practice in.

I fly at Hackney Marsh occasionally, there is a huge field there, can usually miss the dog walkers. I only fly a 450 or my quad.

Yeah a few of us got together out there one day several years ago. I haven't been back since but keep thinking about it because it's such an inspiring place. The regulars were mostly discus-launch gliders and parkflier type planes.

Problem is it's several 100's of meters walk from the car park to where you're allowed to fly. Fine if you have a small model and you can carry lots of batteries. For me with large batteries, Honda generator, PSU and chargers, I would have to make several trips to a fro. I'd have arms the length of an Orangutan by the end of the day

Oh yeah I just used to take a 550 and about six packs... Anything on more than 6s and its a hassle! You just have to watch out for dog walkers as they have no fear and walk straight beneath you.
