Clearly this guy has found a place to fly in London.

The BMFA Classified Ads Service / T-Rex 600 ESP Super Combo - Black incl. 2 x main LIPOs

Not sure I'd do the same thing with a 600 though. You can fly a 450 size heli in Richmond Park (Zone 2/3) and I've heard of some forum members flying in Clapham Common (Zone 1) although I'm not 100% sure of this.

If I remember my air law..then it should be legal to fly over the thames?.. just don't splash it!!

There is a flying site in morden park..fine for smaller helis or tight flying with the bigger ones.. cos there are some trees not that far away if using the official area...

          ...hyde park looks quite big....

Indeedly doodly we fly..........and crash on Clapham Common.
            We being Tiddler,Trillian and ChickenHawk.
Its all very relaxed and informal and you have to watch out for dogs and sometimes have to move when the kids from the local school come out for games.
Lecky 450s are the biggest that we fly there.

There's a place in/near Wimbledon that people fly nitros up to 90 size.

It is near a college, but I can't remember the name.
Life's a bitch and then you fly!!

There is also Wormwood Scrubs near Shepherd's Bush. I haven't flown there for a couple of years but as far as I know, they still have a designated flying area there although I'm not sure how many people actually use it. I also use to fly at Little Harlington as mentioned above. That's a reasonably good spot but you do get problems with people walking their dogs or playing football etc. The best place I know of in London (well in the suburbs of London at least) is Kempton Park. It's a large private site so you're guaranteed to be able to fly without fear of someone kicking a football into your heli.

                  See here for info:

I'd be interested to know where that is if anyone knows?

Not one "thanks" and the OP posted then left the forum within 2 minutes and hasn't been back.
Call me a cynic but could this just be a cheap advert for his shop?

U may be refering to Morden Hall Park.
                        Forgot about that one.
                        Have never been myself.
I think that Eckman gets down there and possibly Trev from Hoverfly amongst others..

PS Oh yeah theres a place over at Croydon as well.Bloody cold in January eh Tiddler?
