  • Century Hawk Sport.

Hi I just finished building the Hawk Sport (My first ever heli) and have already crashed the thing twice. I have done every thing in accordance to the manual. I have found that the malfunction during both the occassions was that One particular main rotar blade hit the horizontal tail fin snapping all the mechanics. The tail boom bent at the the place where the horizontal tail fin is mounted. Can anyone let me know the possible cause for the problem and possible solution

    Cheers

    Hi Ramesh,

    Firstly welcome to the hobby

Now on to your problem, it could be doing this for a number of reasons, could you give us a little more information about how and when it happens, what the engine is doing, what position the sticks on the transmitter are at, is the heli hovering, or about to lift off the ground, or having just landed, etc.

    Cheers,

    Pete.
