having a royal evo 9 converted to 2.4ghz

I ‘m new to rc helicopters. . I’ve been having fun with a mcx2 since Christmas and have become addicted. Now I want to move up to bigger and better things. I used to have fun with rc Tanks and because of that I own a Multiplex royal evo 9. What I’m thinking of doing is having my royal evo 9 converted to 2.4 GHz. What I need to know is it worth the £150 doing the conversion or not. I’m looking at getting the Phoenix RC Pro Flight Simulator to start with and then move up from that.
