  • CCPM question

Hi there, i got a newbie question, but to me its causing some worry!
I have a flasher 250, and when i move cyclic to the left, swashplate tilts left, but rotor disc tilts to the right? Same with cyclic right, swash goes right, but rotor disc left, and exactly the same with forwards and backwards!
Just wanted to check this is right, as have been scratching my head for quite a while!

What do you mean the rotor disk goes in the opposite direction, is this when it's on the bench looking at the flybar. The disk shouldn't be tilting anywhere.

Can you post photos of your head, something sounds wrong.
Normally when you are on the bench with the blades spinning (dangerous) and push the elevator stick forwards the swashplate should tip forwards and then the flybar disk and the rotors will tilt forwards the same goes for right aileron, swashplate tips right flybar and disk tip right.

But if the blades are not spinning and you put left aileron in, the flybar moves towards the swash and in effect will make it seem like its going the wrong way, I did it before and got confused, why not get the blades spinning at 1/3 throttle, or something no where near take off speed, then see what happens

Might want to include a close up of the head, as if this is really happening it seems to me likely to be down to incorrect linkage setup, though exactly how you'd manage it I'm unsure. It's not flybarless, is it?

Just checked it over, its not the rotor disk sorry its the flybar tilting the opposite way, and this is when rotor is spinning, ive held the flybar straight and its tilting as pressed when stationary, just when spinning. So is this a normol effect and me worrying about nothing? If so, sorry for the silly question!

The flybar should tilt with the main disk; or rather, the main disk should tilt with the flybar disk. If that's not the case, then something is wrong.
