I'll keep an eye out for when they come in stock. Is there much difference between the T-rex 450s and the T-rex 450 SE Pro V2 ? The pro v2 looks much more hot with all the blue and carbon fibre. I'm thinking of spending a bit more and getting the pro but I know I will just end up crashing it as I hardly have any expereince flying rc heli's before. I've flown on a simulator but I found them to be unreal , the one I used I could fly upside down and do all sorts but then I had a go on an aero hawk and I could barely get it to fly a few metres ( never go near one it had some glitch or something flew off then flew back and the blade missed my eye just cut a bit of my eye lid lol ) anyway the electronics on it never worked after that they just went crazy. I really wanted a Trex 600 but for a learner they cost too much to repair and I just think if a glitch happens on that it may just cut my head off lol.

Do I need to get insured on this or a license or anything ? I was on some website where he offered tutoring and he seemed to offer some form of qualifications. Are there any clubs around the hertforshire or middlesex area ?

You really need to find a local club and get down there to get all the help and advice you can. Please be safe!

The 450 SE V2 is a much better machine than the 450S, it's newer and more refined again. If it's an option to get one, I recommend you do.

Get insurance from the BMFA - Country membership is £27 per year and covers you for 3rd party liability etc, but is only valid if you fly in a designated area (i.e. club!).

The bmfa website also includes a listing of BMFA registered clubs.
Note, clubs don't have to be bmfa registered. My local heli club isn't, but our insurance is valid as it is a designated flying site.

      Cheers,
      Rob

Got everything now just needs putting together. Can anyone recomend a good simulator ? as I don't want to crash this thing as I have spent to much on it. I've tried a few simulators but they seem to be unrealistic. There any realistic ones out there ?

Phoenix seems to be the sim of choice here. Avaialble from all good model stores or www.phoenix-sim.com
I've got a perfect flying record - I've not left one up there yet!

Seeing as your in Northwood your welcome to join us at either Field End Road or Northwick Park- you WILL need bmfa insurance to fly at Northwick though,as the local council will NOT issue a flying permit without it- there's also certain times that you can only fly models as well (applies to both sites)-
