  • Piro Rate

I have a wee problem with Piro rate Clockwise (Nose right)
even with maximum pitch both ways on my tail blades its really slow nose right, have tryed upping head speed to spin tail faster but mains just counteract tail and it makes no difference.
Im sure when I first got this Heli it piro'd well both ways.
Its only A Twister3D but I want it to work correctly
I just cant fathom it out

Make sure your Rudder servo EPA (End point adjustment) is at 100% minimum on the TX and just increase it from there if you want it any faster mate.
    Cheers,

    Gazza

I have got the epa at 50% 1 way to stop the arm binding but its got maximum travel, I have no expo set or anything else.
Does the epa effect the way the tx works like dual rate?

Think I may have found problem
On my Futaba T6EXHP if you change the epa after setting dual rate, it changes the throws of the dual rate also.
so you must set epa's first with dual rates at 100%

will let you know if it works tommorrow

Also I have a GY401 am i best to set maximum travel on that rather than using epa on TX?

Epa doesnt adjust the travel limit with the 401, just the piro rate.
The Limit pot on the 401 adjusts the actual physical travel on the pitch slider.
You want the limit pot as close to 100% as possible & just play with servo arm lengths to achieve maximum travel without binding.

50% EPA is too low, no wonder it's hardly shifting
          Cheers,

          Gazza

            Yippeee!

            Thanks Gazza
I never new that EPA's affected Piro rate, just thought they set maximum throw of servo. So all is well again, it's been bugging me for ages
Had a hover in my garden and its sorted.

It does not mention anything about piro rates in the 401 and TX6 Manuals?

            Cheers Dave
