    hi folks

    can anyone offer advice please?

I recently fitted an EC135 scale body to my trex450 and despite the snow, managed to give its maiden flight yesterday.

I hovered for a couple of mins... all ok, I turned left, right, back to hover, all ok until it lost control (it wasnt me!!!)

it was as though for a split second it had full aileron to the right.

I landed on its side, luckily in the snow (2ft deep) and with no damage

I sat it on the table and twiddled my sticks...it appears the aileron servo has an occaisional spasm and goes bonkers.

am i getting interferance? it never did this without the body?

    I would replace said servo.

If it was interferance then that should have effected more than just the one servo.

    Sounds like its gone bad.

I'd agree, but just to be sure, try swapping it to a different channel first and if it does the same thing then definately change it.

I've just fitted a Airwolf to my blade, one thing after checking the servo make sure nothing is catching the servo in the fuse like wires etc and also make sure that it can move without touching the fuse body.

            Looking very nice!!!!
You could also add a fenestron tail to add a bit more scale detail.....it would look eeeven nicer
Heliartist make a six blade one for the 450 body but i think it needs a torque tube drive?

I would also consider bonding the tail and boom to the frame, belts are notorious for generating static which of course = interference. I think it cured my nervous twitch, well two packs strapped to a table didn't show any signs of it....

I do have a question though, does the 135 come with the stickers/decals attached?

I don't want to use the stock decals lol

Before I bought it, I looked at a few reviews/videos and they all seem to have decals separate so the choice is yours, but I got this and the decals were on.

Looking at them, I dont think they will take much removing though.

I'm in 2 minds whether I prefer the 450 without the body!

Ta for the reply. keep the Fuz on and see how it goes it does look smart. plus it won't be the cause of the interference anyway

I am in two minds whether to get one for my 450 or do a 500 size one. I want to do a scale model of my local air ambulance, which of course will require custom decals.

I'm contemplating fitting a TT to my A109/Trex450Sport. Less hassle to set up and no adjustment needed once correct. Simply TRex do a kit for £53.99, but currently they are out of stock:

One thing I will say, and I'm probably stating the obvious here but I have had to steepen the pitch due to the increase in weight and it's BIG! Nearly as big as my 500!
