hi all i have a jr x-378 tx and a futaba rx .my question is are they compatable with each other ? ie do i need futaba tx and rx crystals and vice versa and will i need duel or single conversion crystal if not what do i need to do ? thanks martyn

If it's a PCM receiver, it won't work (in all likelihood) - a PPM one might work ok.
Dual conversion receivers need dual conversion crystals.
Best to not mix and match anything for best results though.

as rob said, if its a futaba PCM rx it wont work,
if its PPM then it will work but you need to use the correct futaba xtal. it will say on the rx if its dual conversion.

If the rx is not PCM then they will probably work.
In the tx you should have a JR xtal, and in the RX you should have a futaba xtal - with single con most makes will actually work but with dual con you need really need the futaba one. Single dual con only applies to the rx.www.heli-extreme.co.uk a good club in south Sheffield

yup. you need a JR xtal in the transmitter. then a futaba xtal in the rx of the same frequency and dualcon/single conversion to suit the rx.
