  • Gv1, Jrpcm9xii, Jr R900s Help

    Hi All
Having a badish day, heads now fuzzed, and wanna try to get sorted tommorrow if I can.
I am connecting a Futaba GV1 to my Raptor 30, it has JR R900S Receiver, and using a JR PCM9XII transmitter.
I have connected the unit up, and have been going through the set-up, and cant see the wood for the trees so to speak.
I want to be able to switch in and out of governor mode, and use AUX4 Switch for this.(left side two position). and have 3 speed settings, (any advise on reccomended speeds here welcome, am just starting to fly gentle circuits, Only 3D before a spectacular save or crash!!) on the 3 way Flap Aux 2 switch.
having connected up and scrolling through the menu, I cant get it to switch on the switch, or select the three speeds.
    Anybody help.
P.S. Using channel 5 as switch between rate and HH on the GY401. but cant get my head around this at the moment.

Go into the model setup menu - switch it on with the 'ent' button pressed, and make sure that the switchs aren't inhibited first of all.

    Then, read the 9xii manual!

Sorry to be flippant. I don't use throttle control devices on any of my helis, but I do use a 9xii, and I believe that the standard way of doing it is pre-programmed into your flight-mode switch on the top front right of the set. I also think that you can set a level (say 25%) of throttle stick, below which, the governor is inactive anyway.

I think you're over-complicating the issue by trying to do things your way, rather than the Tx's way. In order to do it your way, you're likely to need programmed mixes between certain channels, which is just more stuff to get wrong.

Cheers for that, i guess it is a problem when you try to follow two sets of instructions, one on the governor and one on the TX.
Will try tomorrow when the TX battery is charged up.
