Actually went flying this morning 1st time in long while, tried out my R900s Rx and 8700g tail servo. The servo is lovely while the others do the job a really good one is I found out (and you lot said), a pleasure. An engine off range check showed I had a very few very tiny glitches on the tail at about 30' with the ariel down never got those on PPM.

The wind was outrageous I'm not happy in the wind at the best of times. I seemed to have the height thing almost under control but it was being blown across the patch. When it got to about to 30degrees side tilt just to get it back I decided it was time to pack it in. Tried flying nose into the wind it just got blown backwards towards me and up. Too scarey.

Know what you mean mate- tried to fly my trex 600 leccy.. just not going to happen! machine is way too light and was been shoved from pillar to post- had much better luck with my Nexus 30 and Shuttle Plus nitro's...... Hopefully be able to do some flying tomorrow with my latest heli- Knight 50 sports .
