Hi guys what have you newbies been up to?
I've been getting some much needed real life stick time in with my Mini Titan Phoenix is good but it doesnt get the adrenalin going like the real thing.
I still darent let it get away from me but I'm begining to gel with it.
I've been doing very gentle hovering, never more than 6 foot up & moving it around from centre to the right & back to centre & put it down again I then do the same from centre to left & back to centre then back down.
I then start putting it down at the left & right extremes in a side on hover Ive not realy any idea if I'm doing it right or wrong but it feels like it's getting easier after every change of battery so I must be doing myself some good. It would be nice if someone could put a training schedule together to put up on the site for us Noobs.
I've been up to the flying field 2 days on the trot now & am going up again tommorow afternoon at 3pm till 6ish for some more of the same.
Only thing thats holding it all back is charging my battery packs
wish they did a Mini Titan with a small IC engine in it & I would be well away.
I felt so confident about it all today I even had my first hover with the unflown Dragonus, geez guys it's totaly different to the Mini Titan! Its so quick on the cyclics, so much so that Ive had to tone it all right down so I could fly it.
Anyway i hope this post urges a few of us newbies to get out there & do it whilst this good weather is with us
Happy flying guys.
Martin
