    Hi

I'd like to thank all who participated in my "Dragonus V mini Titan" quest.
After much consideration of the facts I think I'll go with the Titan, a majority vote I think goes for the Dragonus but I've a feeling it may be too much for an oldie.

So thankyou all,and now you can tell me the best people to buy one off.
There's no one local sells them.
    Cheers

    Peter

too much? at the end of the day they are both micro helis neither is going to be any easier compared to a 30/50 size nitro.

either way your gonna have your work cut out.

I have looked at the nitro heli. option especially the 30 size.It would appear that to get to the 30 size in electric, the kit prices between ep and nitro appear the same, however once the LiPo's reqd. for a few flights are factored in and all the charging and ballancing kit is reqd I would have thought nitro overall would be cheaper long term.
(no one seems to say how long these LiPos last).

perhaps I'm just looking for conveniance of plugging in and go.My mind also goes back to the days of trying to get diesels to fire up,glow was just appearing and very expensive.

Was very tempted though with the Raptor 50 for sale on this site, perhaps a rethink required.

        Thankyou

when you see a li-po on fire then you might change your mind....

li-pos are good and non messy but flight times are not there yet and your
getting into the flight and the flight is over....

For your money a nitro is the better option IMHO

Some good deals on the BMFA Website as well

            Go Nitro

Hi Flybar - Nitro/Electric ? question depends on what you want to acheive.
If it's really getting down to learning to fly R/C Helicopters there is no doubt or question in my mind , the entry level nitro " 30/50 Raptors and equivilents ". are the way to go.
