Newbie needs some advice

Hi, I'm new here but you all seem like a nice bunch of peeps so though I'd ask for some advice. I bought a Twister medevac as I was told they are really good for newbies like myself and I must say I am rather chuffed with it. However I seem to have a problem setting it up. It will fly and hover but I cannot stop it turning, I have played with the gain and the proportional but I just can't seem to get it right. When it does stop turning though it trys to fly backwards and to one side which is really frustrating. Any advice? Thanks

Thanks Lee, had a look and now I'm a little more confused, it mentions checking the mast collet but what am I actually checking it for? All very confusing!!

check thats its tight and not sliping in flight

Checked it and it seems nice and secure, can you tell me what the proportional and the gain actually change? Thanks
