      Hi,

I am a member at the Harlow club.
I don't know if that's too far from you.
Very friendly club with lots of heli-addicts (including me).

If you need any more info let me know!

      Cheers,
      Robin.

          Hello Kevin,

Well I just became a member but I'll tell you what I know.

We have a club meeting every month on Friday night in Harlow.
There's a very outdated website: http://www.hdmfc.com/, which should be updated soon.

Any more Q's let me know!

          Cu,

                Hi Kevin
When you say Watton. Is it Watton on Stone? Down the road from Datchworth.

                    Hi Kevin,

A Raptor 30(v2) is a very good heli to start with I think.
Cheap to buy second hand and loads of spares readily available.
You might also consider a Raptor 50 straight away, similar heli which is a bit more stable and loads more power.

Don't forget to buy a good simulator, I recommend Phoenix, that will save you a lot of (crash) money....

Hope to see you soon at the club.

                    Any Q's let me know!

                    Cheers,
                    Robin.

                      hi robin

been looking on the web tonight and are thinking more about the raptor 50 se as it not much more money as up grades seem more expensive afterwards also which hand sets are you guys using is it the ff9 futabas which i was told today do you use the synthasized model or not have seen one on ebay slso can you recommend the model shops you use for spares who does the best deals etc

                        Hi Kevin
I am just outside Hitchin and my brother stays in Watton. There is a club in Knebworth, but reading the news letter for this year, they say they are not taking Helis. I have been a member there for about 6 months and never met anyone.
I agree with Robin. Get a 50 size Heli. I have a Raptor 30 and don't use it much anymore. The 50's are just so much easier and nicer to fly.
