club advice near glasgow

hi im new to the site and the hobby , got a raptor 50 titan as a present and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice as to what club they think is the best to join around glasgow to learn to set up and fly it . also i may be moving to ayr nearer the end of the year so any advice on clubs in that area would be most helpfull too thanks

As to which is best, I'll let those with more local knowledge than I respond to that.

Hi, I stay in Irvine just on the coast and go to Waterfoot Model Heli Club. It's just off the M77 near Eaglesham. Fantastic club with excellent facilities. Can't recommend it highly enough to be fair.

You'll get all the help you need and then some. Plus if you end up in Ayr it's still just a dash up the '77.

I agree with Andy the Waterfoot club is the best in the area.
There are a few other clubs in the Glasgow area, I am in one near Dunbarton which has a few heli guys, but mostly Planks.
