Different servos have different specifications in terms of their strength (pulling power), rotational speed, and of course price.

Hence, certain servos are more suited to certain applications than others.

9254 = very very fast but not particularly strong - it's a tail servo. This application doesn't usually need much power, but the very high speed of the servo means it can respond to the inputs from the gyro and the pilot extremely accurately.

9251 = also a tail servo, but slightly slower and conversly slightly stronger. Also, I think an older servo which has basically been surpassed by the 9254 now. And the 9256 has now surpassed the 9254, but the 9254 is still very popular.

9251 and 9256 only work with their respective gyros the 601 and 611.

        9254 is for the 401 and 502

That servo chart looks fairly useful, although it's incomplete/not quite up to date...

Example, my Hitec servos (6965) are not listed...

There's a boat load of servo's out there though, so it is a pretty good effort!

Ade, I'm sure that the 9256 works fine on the 601 and the 611, the 9251 however is only for the 601 though
          Cheers,
