Hi everyone
I was lucky enough to open a Buzzflyer CX (from the wife), on Christmas day and have to say I am pretty hooked on flying it! I totally wrecked the pathetic, flimsy, wire frame tail on the very FIRST flight, but have since upgraded with the more robust tail boom. Also shredded a few motor pinions, but have replaced them with ease and can now almost fly a full battery without a crash!
One thing I have noticed, is that I can trim the CX to a good hover and this will be ok for a while, but then it becomes a little unstable. And needs a re-trim??
I have also noticed it is best to set the right hand stick trim fully left before switching on, the moving it almost fully to the right to compensate any drift towards the left. This works better then leaving the trim in the centre before switching on like you are supposed to do?
Either way it is good fun to fly & I am already thinking of getting something new as the next step. I see the Blade mSR seems to be a very popular heli on this web site so may get this, or perhaps the buzz flyer SE/BE bnf as I already have a transmitter?
What do you reckon??
Thanks
