  • General Consensus on Blade CX2

    Hi Folks

What is the general consensus about the E Flite Bade CX Contra Rotating Heli? I am considering buying the new CX2 as a first Heli for basic hover training.

This is a first Heli and i want to learn Hovering in all orientations (not inverted obviously!!) plus foward and backward flight.
Also have Reflex that working out quite well but want to have a real Heli to Fly.

Please tell me if this seems like a good idea as they seem pretty good value for money.

    Many thanks

    Ben
Now I know what Orvill the duck was on about!!!!

It will be fine as an entry into RC helicopters to learn the basics on . These have the 2.4Ghz radio I think, which I like, and are capable of good forward and backwards flight unlike some of the other contrarotating heli's out there.
Hope you get the bug and advance in the hobby, good luck.

If it's not fun, your not doing it right !!

      I *LOVE* my CX2

The only thing I would advise is to fly in as much space as possible, because you'll chip blade a lot otherwise.

Also, move the control horns out one, and get the sterman boom and skids kit. It'll fly like a different heli.

Seriouly, this is an awesome piece of kit
