  • no training gear

hi all after flying my heli mini pred (not got my trex finished yet), hovering a little side on for about 2-3week finaly took the training gear of . the nerves were all over the place, but wow i honestly think it makes you a better pilot the concentration was awesome. with the training gear on i tended to hover ok and land hard but with the gear of i found my landing much ,much better as i had very little room for any errors on landing so i am realy chuffed now but tomorrows another day and who knows, nose in? lol best wishes . martyn.

Not wrong! At least the heli flies a lot better without all the legs hanging off it

What's training gear? Does the little Twister Medevac come with it as standard and, if so, how do I take it off? Sorry for the newb questions, but at the moment I am at the bottom of a very steep learning curve.

Just get it off Mikey, it's not as bad as you think its going to be. Best decision you will make.

Once you can hover tail in comfortably and land gently that dead weight should be removed straight away.

Once you can happlily hold a half decent hover but more so be able to land square down without wandering then ditch it,helis ,much smoother
