Greetings all you RC Heli Pilots out there and Happy New Year

I have just got a Robbe Moskito Sport II which has come with just about everything except a transmitter! The previous owner told me that I should go for a JR transmitter like a JRX347 or a JR2610. My experience with RC Heli's is a big fat zero and I have no idea what to do

There are so many JR transmitters around and I'm totally confused about which one to get I've seen a JRX3885, a JRPCM9X. a JR3810 and there are others beside these!!!

Could anyone of you RC Heli Pilots please help with advice and suggestions?

P.S - does any know of any RC (Heli) Flying clubs and shops in/around Middlesex?

Thanks everyone and best wishes for 2007

BMFA Club locator is here -> http://www.bmfa.org/clubs/clist.php

The JR PCM 9Xii is a current model, and an excellent choice - I use one.

But it'll cost you a tad under £300 for a new one.

Futaba do an excellent range of budget transmitters as well.

It all depends on your budget.

choose the one that meets your budget.

      Futaba 7c
      Futaba 9c
      JR 9x2
      DX7

I would be tempted more towards the 9x2 and 9c.

Thank you The Manager and Ade Law for your replies.

Yes I guess the price is the main factor although I was also thinking about the number of channels - guess at my level a 7ch would be more than enough. Futaba and JR seem to be recommended a lot and I'm def gonna look into getting one of them.

Cheers guys and have a "high flying" 2007 !!!!
