yeah i agree with raptorheli2,more than welcome to pop by, cabin is great, ideal for working on heli's!!
Infact raptorheli2 took me up on the buddy for one tank, was enough to give me the confidence just to go for circuits alone.Del

If its not raining we will be up tomorrow & possibly tuesday for a wee bit of new years day flying, dunno about wed though, depends on the weather, someone will definately be there on Sunday.
The SAA is the Scottish version of the BMFA & are affiliated to them. Insurance is £27 for the full year with them. The club fees are £50 for a full years membership.
If you have any other questions just ask!
Edit: Yes we were up today but it was just a tad foggy

well, yeah we're almost a year on and I've been flying at a club in Ayrshire- I've made a few enquiries about Waterfoot and seem to be hearing the same thing from everyone - that it's not the nicest place to fly with a slightly 'interesting' couple of members who seem to give out an unpleasant/unwelcome vibe. I'm wondering if this is the case, sorry if this might come as a bit of unwelcome news but I guess it's worthwhile knowing what some impressions are of the situation at the club - this has come from a fair few different sources all independent of one-another. I'm keen to find a more heli-centric club but not join a club that doesn't have the same welcome atmosphere as my current one.

Tell you what, why dont you take a trip up and see for yourself & not bother listening to what other people have to say??Last edited by del19_82; 31-12-2007, 06:38 PM.Del
