Fried RX? (and a gyro question)
Hi All
I hope somebody can help me, I think I've broken my heli !! Is it possible to fry a RX? I was out this afternoon still trying to learn stable hovering (my Trex 450) when I had a bit of a moment! I landed a little hard and the wrong way up, oops !
Well, there appeared to be no damage but I seem to have developed an electrical problem. The heli seemed to lose power as though the battery was going flat and within a couple of minutes I had nothing at all. No motor at all and none of the servos have any power going to them. I changed the lipo but still nothing. The ESC doesn't make the usual start up noises when I connect the battery and the gyro doesn't light up.... Any ideas ? I tried a spare ESC that I have and that hasn't fixed it. Help !!!
Oh, and can somebody advise on gyro settings. I have a telebee HH gyro, any ideas where I should set the adjuster on the gyro itself. I have my tx set at 80%, should I have the little screw adjuster set to max ?
