Having now built, setup and test flown the Mini zoom a friend gave me
I’m glad I learnt to fly with a larger heli i.e. Rappy 50v2
I realised how hard it must be for first time flyers to learn on such small helis.
They are so twitchy and if you don’t know much about helis or how to set them up it must be mind blowing,
I now see why lots of people give up.
Without good advice from experienced flyers (which this forum gives) the novice doesn’t stand a chance,
I would like to see the manufacturers clearly state in their sales blurb that this sort of heli is defiantly not for the beginner,
Pipe dream I suppose,,
Still having said that,, I’ve found the mini zoom se pro a nice little heli and flys quit well,, after a bit of tinkering that is,,
I did find the stock gyro a bit fussy to get right but once sorted its quite stable,
Not had chance to roll or invert it yet, (not enough room indoors) and its been a bit to windy outside, it feels quit a capable little heli so looking forward to trying it.
